Happy New Year from Brian MacStay Photography! 2011 was a banner year as it was our first year in the photography business full time! Thank the Lord! We couldn’t have done it with out our wonderful clients, the love and encouragement of family, and the help and support from many mentors and collegues! A very special thanks to David Gaston of Gaston Photography for being my full time mentor, so willing to give of his time and knowledge!

2012 is turning out to be another awesome year! We relocated our busiess a few months ago from Denver to the San Francisco Bay Area! Already we are prefrerred vendors at the following beautiful wedding and event venues:

With weddings, events, portrait, fashion and modeling sessions booking already we are very excited to see what 2012 has in store for us!

San Francisco Event Photographer – Black White & Bling Event at Hyatt Regency San Francisco

What an awesome party! I had a great time joining the wonderful folks at the San Francisco Hyatt for their Black White and Bling Event healed this month! What a fun evening of great food, emotional award presentations, prizes, and lots and lots of dancing! Here are a handful of photos from the evening in the city!

San Francisco Wedding Photographer – Sarah & Tim’s Wedding

It was the first snow of the season at the Perry Park Country Club in Larkspur, Colorado, and Sarah and Tim were getting married! They had planned on an outdoor wedding ceremony, but the snow was falling too heavily so the chairs and decorations moved indoors. As Sarah and Tim’s first-look photo session prior to the ceremony came to an end, the snow stopped! Everyone moved quickly to set the ceremony back outside overlooking the golf course and lake! We were all thrilled!

The photographs of their beautiful wedding on that chilly afternoon turned out georgous! Take a look for yourself!

San Francisco Wedding Photographer – Alex & Zemfira’s Wedding

It was a perfect recipe for georgeous wedding photographs…. A stunning couple, at an increadible location, on a beautiful fall day in the great city of Denver! Alex & Zemfira’s cultural Armenian wedding was a rollercoster of events, starting at 9:00 am, went all day, and late into the evening with events packed full of culture, food, and dancing! Did I mention there was dancing? A LOT of dancing?

Special thanks to Sarah Fischer of lola photography for second shooting the wedding with me!
